Based
on the Strategic
Plan adopted by the General Assembly, ICOM's
activities respond to the challenge and needs of the museum
profession.
ICOM's
activities are implemented by its Committees
and by its Secretariat, particularly through the organisation
of international
professional meetings, publications,
training, partnership and raising public awareness.
The
ICOM Secretariat, in conjunction with the relevant International
